The DAX is closed today but the DAX futures are higher
The German DAX is actually closed today, but the index futures are trading. Had the DAX been open, then it would have kicked off the final session before Christmas higher. The index closed yesterday at 19,848. The range seen was covered by 19,805 to 19,901, so as you can see the close was pretty much in the middle of that range. This morning the index futures have indicated an opening after Christmas of above 19,900 and it is not much changed in that respect right now. The CAC and the FTSE 100 are open, but set to close early today. There will be an update on those shortly
