DAX breaks more records as it rises above 16,800 heading into the close
There is still no stopping the German DAX it seems. The index has just now lifted above 16,800, no doubt buoyed by gains across the pond in the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq 100. The DAX index is still below the Asian futures high, but just now rising to its best level ever in live trading. All the while the index remains above 16,759 ahead of the close this afternoon, it will ensure a new closing high is reached today in around 15 minutes
