DAX attempting to fill the gap this morning?
Well, the DAX did open lower today, kicking off the new month at 16,834. As already noted here, the index closed last night at 16,903 and the price action since the opening has been mostly northbound. That suggests to me, the index is trying to fill the gap it lift open from the close last night (at around 16,888). It is yet to achieve that, but it is likely that is what it is attempting to do right now. So, first we see if that does unfold and then we see if the index can rise further from there, or once the gap is filled. turn lower again. The DAX is currently trading at 16,864
