Can the Nasdaq 100 set new records this week?

On March 21 the Nasdaq 100 reached a new all time record high at 18,464. However, it was unable to make further progress last week, but it did still set a record monthly close on Thursday, at 18,254. What was clear last week too, was that the record US rally broadened out beyond the tech sector. Overnight the Nasdaq 100 futures have gained though and they are rising closer to pricing that index towards its March 21 high. The price action just now suggests it is going to be a new record opening for the index later today. Of course that might change over the next few hours, but at this moment the index is priced to reopen at around 18,350
