Can the Dow Jones do it at the fourth time of asking?

As noted here much earlier today, the Dow Jones failed on the possibility of setting a daily close above 35k for the third day in a row on Friday. Prior to that, index had peaked at 35,051 on November 15, then at 35,022 on November 16. The high seen on Friday was set at 35,028. The index closed below 35k on all three occasions and closed on Friday at 34,947. The futures price has not been above 35k so far today. The highest indicative opening price has so far been set at 34,990 and the lowest at 34,890. It is currently off that earlier low and right now pricing a reopening at around 34,945. Irrespective of where it actually resumes live trading today, perhaps the more important thing from a technical perspective will be where it later closes. After those previous 3 failed attempts, maybe the close today will be more decisive, one way or the other
