Can the DAX reach 21k today?
Since opening higher today, at 20,802 the DAX has not only managed to hold that gain for the most part, it has now advanced further. The earlier post opening low was set at 20,698, but that was much earlier on and since then the index has pushed close to 20,950 and it is not far off that high right now. The question to ask here, as the index piles on more than 550 points so far today; is can it reclaim levels above 21k ahead of the close this afternoon. Much will depend on how the US markets fare when they open shortly. So, far though there is little evidence of sellers aggressively leaning into the DAX, but that is not to rule such out at some point, especially at higher levels if seen. The DAX is right now at 20,935
