On Friday an update here noted the potential for the CAC 40 to push towards the current all time high. That was and still is in place at 8,259.19 and it was set on May 10 last year. The CAC did make it above 8,200 on Friday, but the move stalled at 8,212.64 quite early in the session. However, despite testing the highs again, it was not able to hold all that gain into the weekly close. The CAC closed on Friday at 8,178.54, with a more modest gain of 14.43 points on the day. The CAC futures, like the DAX right now, are not pricing much of a change for the opening a little later this morning. The index is right now priced to reopen around 8,185
