CAC 40 set to struggle again today?

The CAC 40 was the worst performing major European stock market yesterday. In fact, it was the only one of the three to end the session with a loss. The index stalled earlier in the session at 7,625 after opening lower, at 7,565 and later falling back to close below its previous daily close, at 7,590. The CAC 40 closed right at the lows of the day, at 7,565. The reason for this is once again all about the developing row in the French Government and the upshot of that is not good news, as the French president seeks to change the constitution to suit his own ends and avoid a right wing power share. This uncertainty has not gone down well with the French stock markets and explained the rotation out of the CAC and into the DAX seen yesterday. The CAC will shortly reopen for live trade and it remains to be seen, if the index can bounce to any degree again today. The index is currently called to reopen at around 7,580
