CAC 40 set to open lower this morning
As you know by now, yesterday the CAC 40 did lift above any resistance in place at 7,691. The push through that level saw the index reach 7,725 ahead of the close, but still well short of the next technical level at 7,768. The CAC later closed at 7,706, with a gain of 78 points on the session. An update later yesterday afternoon noted the CAC futures were already falling back and that is still the case right now this morning. Hence, the index is currently priced to open lower today. It remains to be seen just how much lower that will be and also if the index can rebound again or not, when live trading resumes. The CAC 40 is currently priced to open at around 7,660
