CAC 40 outperforms as US markets prepare to reopen
The US markets are now getting underway, but there is still some two hours before stocks start trading again. In the meantime, the situation here in Europe has seen the FTSE 100 continue to underperform and the index has now dropped below the 8,300 mark. The DAX has continued to edge lower now too and that has been recently threatening the 18,400 handle. At the same time the CAC 40 is still in positive territory on the day and it is right now performing the best of the three and holding its ground above 7,500. That might change, but it seems there is a degree of rotation at play here, pushing some flow back to Paris. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,510
