CAC 40 outperforms so far today
Earlier this morning the major European stock markets pushed higher save for the FTSE 100. and now the DAX. Since that opening the CAC 40 has been the best performer amongst the three and right now it is still in positive territory, where the other two are not. The reason for that is not abundantly clear at this stage, but it could be focused on a degree of optimism regarding the latest developments in the French political scene. The CAC opened today at 7,414 after closing yesterday at 7,425. The high seen earlier was set at 7,476. It is off that high now though and it is seemingly getting dragged lower by the DAX falling towards session lows just now. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,450
