CAC 40 leads European opening gains
As covered here earlier this morning, the CAC 40 was the best performing major European stock market index into the close yesterday. The French stock market index gained 28 points, to close 0.39% higher, at 7,423. They index has just reopened and it has immediately lifted on the opening, rising above 7,450 and as things currently stand, it is performing the best of its peers again in very early trade. Naturally, the CAC 40 could do with some additional support from the ECB later today. As to whether it gets that remains to be seen, but the index is clearly on the front foot so far this morning.
