CAC 40 leads European gains
The European stock markets have performed pretty well so far today. The DAX has now lifted close to 18,400 and the CAC 40 is not far off reaching 7,500. In pure percentage terms it is the CAC 40 that is leading the way and in that respect the FTSE 100 is bringing up the rear again. The CAC 40 has managed to advance some 35 points beyond where it closed on Friday, at 7,449, but that was a technically positive close above the technical level, at 7,433 and that price point has not been put to the test so far today. The session low currently stands at 7,442 and index reopened at 7,445. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,487
