CAC 40 kicks off above 7,600 but doubts remain
Following on from the previous update noting the higher opening for the DAX this morning, the CAC 40 has also opened higher. Yesterday the CAC was under pressure for most of the day, but it did not break any fresh ground. The index did close lower, but above the session low at 7,524. The CAC closed just 9 points lower at 7,570. The high seen yesterday was set at 7,603 and it has just kicked off live trading above that high. There could be some further price extension, but at the same time, under the current circumstances, it might not extend too far given the still very uncertain political backdrop. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,610
