CAC 40 holds 8k but only just

Yesterday it was a day of two very distinct halves for the CAC 40. Earlier in the day the index rose to 8,114 and seemed on track to kick off the new week with a higher daily close. Well, that was not the case by the close, because subsequent to that high, the CAC turned tail and fell back very close to the 8k handle. The low seen was set at 8,002. The index later closed 20 points lower, at 8,022. The opening is currently being priced a little higher this morning, but it remains to be seen, if there will be another test of that 8k handle and if so, whether or not it caps the downside once again.
