CAC 40 higher today but levels above 7,500 so far remain elusive

Much earlier today the CAC 40 futures were pricing an opening this morning at above 7,500. The realisation of that did not actually happen and the index actually reopened at 7,478. The high seen so far today was set at 7,484 and then the index dropped back to a low at 7,436.The index had closed yesterday at 7,396. It is pushing higher again now, but so far it has not threatened that 7,500 level. This high point seen earlier this morning was just above the 50 day moving average, in place now at 7,480. Beyond 7,500 itself we have resistance levels at 7,530 and then a still open gap to 7,564. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,461
