CAC 40 futures off the lows but still heading for a negative opening today

Yesterday the CAC 40 was the best performing major European stock market index. The CAC 40 closed with a gain of 1.91%. That compares to 1.75% for the FTSE 100 and 1.50% for the DAX. The CAC put on 135 points, to close at 7,266. The move higher yesterday remains well short of any minimum technical rebound objective (at 7,320), but it did manage to close an open gap on the daily bar chart left open at 7,227 and reached a high yesterday at 7,287. That said the CAC 40 futures fell back with US stocks last night and at one point it was priced to reopen this morning close to 7,125. It is well above that low now, but still set to reopen below where it closed yesterday, currently at around 7,200
