CAC 40 futures indicate unchanged opening as French PMI data looms
The CAC 40 is currently priced to reopen largely unchanged from where it closed yesterday, at 7,524. As earlier noted the CAC was the best performing major European stock market (+0.52%) yesterday. There is some important French flash PMI data due out shortly after the index reopens in a few minutes. The August reading for Services, Manufacturing and the composite are due for release at 7.15am GMT and are expected to show only a modest improvement and depending on what emerges there, it could shape how the index trades after that opening
