CAC 40 falls further as DAX comes off the boil
The CAC 40 has been struggling all morning so far, as has the FTSE 100 and both are just now setting session lows as the Yen strengthens across the board. The earlier jump in the DAX on the opening has for now run out of steam and that has fallen back below 18,500 after earlier topping out at 18,540. The DAX has dropped back towards 18,475 just now and that has added to the downside on the CAC 40. The French stock market index has not enjoyed the momentum the SAP has provided for the DAX. So, the CAC is now close to session lows, as it approaches 7,575
