Just ahead the opening for CAC 40 an update here yesterday noted how it was extremely vulnerable given its important luxury sector components within the index. That was not just about the impact of the US trade tariffs, but also about rising recession risk too. Well, no surprise to see the CAC 40 was actually the worst performing major European index yesterday, even eclipsing the heavy losses seen in the DAX in percentage terms. So, the CAC closed 3.31% lower yesterday, compared to a 3.01% loss for the DAX. The index handed back 259 points when ending that session at 7,598. The opening outlook is very uncertain this morning and even if there is a bounce it remains to be seen by how much and for how any rebound last heading into the weekend. The CAC 40 is currently priced to reopen around 7,565
