CAC 40 eyeing 7k again?

Yesterday none of the major European stock markets had a very good day. As noted here at the time, it was the CAC 40 that led the way lower and indeed that extended some way further after that update went out. Once the index busted the noted support at 7,325 it could not recover. The CAC later led the lower closes too, falling by 2.69% on the session. That compared to a 2.13% loss for the DAX and 1.23% for the FTSE 100. The CAC closed 199 points lower, at 7,226 and right now the futures are pricing an opening below 7,200 this morning. The index based out back in August at 7,029, before rebounding to a high, at 7,804. Well, as you can see, it is now in danger of entirely unravelling that whole rebound and that means at some stage the 7k level might come under threat once more. We shall see on that, but the immediate signs are not that positive.
