CAC 40 expected to reopen below 7,600 this morning

The CAC 40 closed exactly unchanged yesterday. That is not something you see very often. The index had earlier risen to a session high at 7,653, but gave all that gain back into the close, when it ended the session, entirely unchanged at 7,586.55. That close was clearly led by a deeper fall in the DAX into the close, but more on that index a little later. The low seen earlier in the day had been set at 7,559. That is a level that might be in play again today and if breached on the downside could deliver an extension- we hall see on that when live trading resumes. Right now the CAC 40 futures are indicating a reopening below the 7,600 handle, and currently just below where the index closed last night. The CAC 40 is just now priced to open around 7,575.
