The European stock markets have been open for just over 30 minutes now and it has been a rather mixed early session. The FTSE 100 is seemingly struggling for traction due to the higher GBP/USD and the DAX has so far rejected a move back above 20k. It reopened today at 7,313 and has risen to a session high so far at 7,338. However, it is backing away now and that seems to come as the DAX slips a bit further right now. We shall see how this plays out this morning. The CAC 40 is currently trading at 7,310
