CAC 40 continues to underperform falling into negative territory on the day
The earlier higher opening for the CAC 40 has so far not delivered any kind of meaningful rally as once again it seems investors have used that to offload stocks once more. For a long while, it seemed the DAX might eventually help it higher, but since that index has once again firmly rejected a rise above its 50 day moving average (what was said about trading the range on that one earlier?) and fallen back, that has left the CAC 40 with little choice but to fall further. The index closed yesterday at 7,662 and reopened today at 7,703. The high seen immediately after that opening was only at 7,007. The index is now falling into negative territory on the day, as it drops back towards 7,650
