CAC 40 below 7,900 again as DAX falls further-EUR/USD hits new session lows
Following on from the previous update, the losses across the European stock markets have now deepened. The CAC 40 has given up its rather tepid effort to bounce and now fallen back underneath 7,900. The DAX is also further extending on the downside, as it drops towards 18,450 and the whole, slightly more positive start to the day is unravelling even more now. There is no fresh news of any note in terms of Europe and it seems like the opening gains today did as expected and merely provided better levels for market participants to lean into. Of course this might all flip again, but for now the bears are winning and that is denting the EUR/USD again, as it falls to session lows below 1.0745
