CAC 40 is about to reopen following a daily close above 8k - can it advance further?

Yesterday the records seen in the FTSE 100 and the DAX helped to lift the CAC 40. The French index finally made a move back above 8k and that is the first time the index has recovered that level since the very beginning of June last year. The reader is reminded of the record set in the CAC last year ahead of the French election, at 8,259. The CAC 40 closed yesterday at 8,007, with a gain of 115 points on the day. The high seen prior to that close was set at 8,024. The index will reopen for live trading in a couple of minutes and it will be interesting to see, if it can build on that close above 8k yesterday. The index is just now priced to reopen around that level
