BTC holds 57,500 and edges higher ahead of the European opening

Yesterday Bitcoin continued to fall back and that fall extended into the 4pm London FX fix. It has been noted here many times in the past and it is repeated again here this morning. That is to say that it is important to observe just how often the extreme of any given trading day in BTC is seen around the time of that London fix and yesterday was just another in a long line of examples. The low seen in BTC yesterday was set at 57,505 and it has managed to hold that 57,500 level again so far today. The low seen earlier this morning was set at 57,601 and it has since pushed back above 58k. Meantime, the noted 50 and 100 day moving averages are still falling further below the 200 day and in place right now at 59,382 and 61,339 respectively. The high seen a short while ago this morning has been set at 58,556. BTC is currently trading at 58,554
