Brent slips following news wire reports of peace deal progress
A few moments ago another news wire report emerged, this time from NBC news, suggesting a peace deal between Hamas and Israel was very close to being concluded. Of course we have heard such talk so many times before, so it remains to be seen, if there is any real traction to this latest report. That said, Brent has reacted immediately to the news by falling back. Prior to that the price had rebounded back above $81 per barrel from an earlier low close to $80.20. The reaction to this news has seen it slide towards $80.50. Brent for March delivery is right now at $80.70
