Brent rises above $78
Since early European trading and an update here, oil prices have now lifted again. The price of December Brent crude has lifted above $78 per barrel and in the process taken out the high seen yesterday, at $77.99. The move higher is now extending to around $78.25 and the reasons behind this remain as they were yesterday and it is all about the fear across the oil markets of an imminent attack by Israel upon Iranian oil facilities. Brent for December delivery is just now trading at $78.14
