Brent lifts above $76 again following reports of explosions in Iran

According to some news wire reports there have been explosions heard at nuclear facilities in Iran. Those reports can neither be confirmed or denied here though. Irrespective of this, the reports have had an impact on the oil markets and the price of Brent crude for December delivery has lifted above $76. The high seen earlier this week was set at $76.32 on Tuesday. The price has just now matched that high, reaching that a short while ago. Of course it could now extend, but it might need confirmation of what exactly has taken place in Iran to deliver that. Hence, this news based reaction is still very fluid right now. Brent is currently trading at $76.17
