Brent extends break below $73.25

As warned about in an earlier update this afternoon, the price of Brent crude for December delivery has failed to hold the lows seen earlier this week. The fall below $73.25 has now unfolded and taken the price down close to the $72.50 mark. It could extend further on this run, but that depends on how and if there is no short-covering ahead of the final NYMEX settlement of the week later this evening. Brent has hit a session low this afternoon at $72.51. It is currently trading at $72.60
