Brent edging a little lower this morning

Yesterday Brent crude for July delivery managed to push higher, from an earlier low just underneath $64.50. The rebound later extended to test $66 per barrel, but it could not hold all of that rebound into the NYMEX settlement. Brent later settled just $0.13 higher on that exchange, at $65.54. As noted in the headline here, the price action has been rather inconclusive so far today. The range has mostly been covered mostly by $65.00 and $65.50, barring an earlier Asian push to just above $65.70. It seems like the oil markets require fresh news to deliver a more pronounced move, one way or the other. Brent for July delivery is currently trading at $65.06
