Brent edges back from fresh rebound high above $81.75
The rebound in oil prices extended all day yesterday and eventually that saw the price of April Brent rise to above $81 and beyond. The move higher was consistent and extended all the way into the NYMEX settlement, where Brent later closed that session with a gain of $2.42, at $81.63. It has reached a high so far today at $81.76, but it has just now edged back from that high. The low seen so far has been set at $81.16. Support remains in place lower down at $81.01 and the next level of note on the topside could be at around $82.65. April Brent is currently trading at $81.30
