On Friday Brent crude oil for May delivery managed to hold the $85 per barrel handle at the second time of asking. That was covered here at the time and subsequent to that update, the price rose back above $86 ($86.15 the high), but it could not hold that rise and later fell back to a low at $85.23 ahead of the NYMEX settlement. It later settled $0.35 lower, at $85.43. However, oil prices have rebounded again so far today and a little earlier rose back above $86 again. The high seen has been set at $86.05. Brent for May delivery is currently trading at $85.85
