Brent crude rebound stalls just ahead of $83
The rebound back above $82 per barrel in the price of January Brent crude was covered here in a late afternoon update. The price later settled, $1.09 higher on NYMEX exchange, at $82.52., It has pressed a little higher today, but so far the rise has stalled just ahead of $83 per barrel. The high seen so far has been set at $82.96. Now according to the usual curse of the commentator, that probably means it will now rise above that $83 level by the time you read this update, but we shall just have to see on that. Brent crude for January delivery is currently trading at $82.70
