Brent crude lifts on reports ceasefire in Lebanon has been broken

Reports just now circulate indicate the tenuous ceasefire in Lebanon may have been broken. That cannot be confirmed here, but that is what Quick News is picking up on right now. The Oil markets are taking notice for sure and Brent for February delivery has spiked higher a moment ago. Brent crude for February delivery had settled just $0.02 lower on the NYMEX exchange last night, at $72.30. The market there will be closed later today, but for now Brent is still trading and it was already on the rebound today, from an earlier low at around $71.85. It has just now pushed above $72.65
