Brent crude June contract expires tomorrow

On Friday oil prices fell back and that later delivered a fall to just above $65.50 in the price of Brent crude for June delivery. However, a quite sharp rebound unfolded into the final NYMEX session of the week. Hence June Brent later settled $0.32 higher on that exchange, at $66.87. Overnight the price has lifted on the Asian opening, reaching a high at $67.57. That was then followed by a drop to $66.70. It is off the lows just now though, but you should note; the June contract will expire tomorrow and after that we will be trading the July contract on the platform. As the market is still in backwardation, the July price is around $1 lower. Brent crude for June delivery is currently trading at $67.10
