Yesterday the gains in the Dow Jones helped to lift oil prices and that saw the price of Brent crude for November delivery recover back above $73 per barrel again. Brent reached a high at a new rebound high at $73.39, but then slipped back below $72.50 around the time of the 4pm London FX fix. The rebound that followed into the wider US market close then delivered a later $1.14 higher close on the NYMEX exchange, at $72.75. Today Brent crude has been making progress and pushing back above $73 once more. The high seen so far has been set at $73.15. The earlier ow was set at $72.85. Brent for November delivery is currently trading at $73.12
