Bitcoin trying to edge higher

Yesterday Bitcoin got upended by the rebound in the dollar and modest recovery in US yields. The lead coin stalled short of 68,500 and duly fell back sharply into and after the 4pm London FX fix. BTC dropped to a new session low at 66,250. It has traded mostly laterally since then, but with a slight upward bias. The high seen so far today has been set at 67,165, but despite edging higher there does not yet appear to be much in the way of any haven status yet attached to this one and that is something that many long-term supporters have often said defines BTC. Well, in truth that is not exactly the case, but perhaps we do have to remember where the price is in terms of its overall longer term range- pretty near the top end of that right now. Bitcoin is currently trading at 67,080
