Bitcoin surges past 50k to new 2024 highs above 51k
Bitcoin has certainly rebounded now this morning. The lead coin has not long ago recovered the 50k and then pressed on rapidly to rise above 51k for the first time this year and that makes this a new rebound high, off the 2022 lows at 15,485. The next target was highlighted here previously and remains at 56,364. Of course that is some way above where we are now and might not be reached today, if at all of course. That said it has picked up rapidly and if it keeps that kind of pace up, then it will not be long before this upper level might come onto the radar with a bit more urgency. Bitcoin is currently trading at 51,260
