Bitcoin still just not at the races

The price action in Bitcoin has been really rather subdued over the past 24 hours. Granted it did rebound from recent lows underneath 75k, but it has not exactly outperformed in relative terms. That said, when the US stock markets were deep in the red at one point yesterday, BTC did not fall back much either. The low seen yesterday evening was set at 78,420. It has managed to reclaim the 80k handle since then, but the move lacks pace and dynamics. The high seen so far today has been set at 81,025. Perhaps no one has any BTC left to sell? It sure is not grabbing much in the way of any risk capital though and not like Gold has since this time yesterday- more on that in the next update. The simple truth is that with all the action in FX and stocks right now BTC has been sidelined. You should also remember that many of the heavy hitters in BTC are the same guys that used to trade FX and when the focus turns back there, as it has, they kind of steer away from BTC. So, that is not to say it is entirely sidelined at the moment, but it sure is not much in focus right now. BTC is currently trading at 80,610
