Bitcoin stalls ahead of 73k for now

Yesterday the new records set in Bitcoin came after the comments from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) further endorsed the positive outlook, when that institution seemed to increase the chances of a BTC listing in the UK (and Ether too). That news helped to propel BTC further above 70k and to a fresh record high later in the day, at 72,880. However that has remained the top of the shop since then and there has been no further increase during the Asian session today. The lead coin fell back to a low earlier at 71,335. The earlier session high was set at 72,767. The current 14 RSI (Relative Strength Index) is right now nudging 80 and that might account for the lack of further traction so far today. So, perhaps this is prompting some profit-taking in the short term, after what has been a pretty meteoric rise of late. Bitcoin is currently trading at 71,890
