Bitcoin reclaims the upward trend as it lifts to a new 2024 high above 53k
Earlier today Bitcoin was seemingly stalling after a weekend of no gains beyond 52k. Well over the past couple of hours that has all changed and now the lead coin has taken out all its previous interim tops and jumped back above 52k and subsequent to that, above 53k. BTC has now lifted to around 53,600 and in the process risen to a new 2024 high. That means its is a step closed to reaching the previously noted next important technical level, at 56,364. Bitcoin is currently trading at 53,200
