Bitcoin rebound stalls around 67,600 for the time being
Earlier this morning an update here noted the rebound in Bitcoin after it had been savaged by a more than 14% fall yesterday evening ahead of the wider US market close. Well, since then the lead coin has traded back to above 67k. However, in more recent trading, it has now dropped back from an earlier high around 67,600. It has since fallen to a low at 64,750, but it has rebounded off that low. One thing looks certain this afternoon and that is volatility remains elevated and we should be mindful of risks of rapid movement in either direction as the afternoon unfolds. The markets were put on high alert in that regard yesterday and nothing seen so far today has seemingly removed that yet. Bitcoin is currently trading at 66,235
