Bitcoin reaches a new record high today
Yesterday morning Bitcoin set a new record high at 73,661. It then backed off to a low at 71,710 around the time of the 4pm London FX fix. It has rebounded again today though and a short while ago it set a new all time record high at 73,670. It is not far below that now and as things currently stand it looks like 74k is on the cards this morning. However, it is worth noting that the current new record high is just a fraction above where it topped out yesterday, so it is a little surprising; that there has so far been almost no acceleration above that level. At the same time it would seem entirely wrong to assume this has topped out just yet. Bitcoin is currently trading at 73,625
