Bitcoin jumps above 71k after London stock exchange news fuels further gains
Following my earlier update on Bitcoin and its rebound from earlier Asian lows, the lead coin has now lifted to set new records above 70k. It has now vaulted the 71k handle after headlines a moment ago from the London Stock exchange. They have said that they will look at listings for BTC later this year. That is not not say that anything will necessarily be forthcoming in terms of a listing in the UK, but it further endorses the legitimacy of crypto should that take place. The LSE has said it will accept listings from BTC and Ether, but without further details at this stage, as to what exactly those listings might entail. Naturally, ETHUSD has jumped on this news too. Bitcoin is right now trading at 71,225
