Bitcoin jumps above 45k into the New Year

On Friday December 29 Bitcoin fell below 42k once more. The low seen just after the wider US markets closed for the year was set at 41,347. Of course BTC never sleeps and it lifted back above 42k in weekend trading. It has has since lifted even more dynamically late yesterday afternoon and again earlier this morning. Bitcoin has now risen sharply above 45k this morning. That means it has taken out the high seen in 2023 at 44,735 (on December 8). The surge to 45,522 a little earlier this morning means the lead coin is now closer to the previously noted and important next rebound objective. That is at 48,552 and this price point represents a 61.8% rebound of the fall seen in 2021 and 2022. That is when BTC dropped from a record high at 68,991 to a low at 15,485. The low seen earlier today was set at 43,405. Bitcoin is currently trading at 45,290
