Bitcoin holds onto 60k for now
An update here yesterday afternoon noted the fall in Bitcoin taking it close to the 62,500 mark. That update also noted the risks of more downside to come for the lead cryptocurrency. Well, as the afternoon gave way to the evening that is exactly what played out and BTC came very close to busting below 60k. In the event that level held firm and BTC rebounded from a low at 60,168 to a high a short while ago, at 61,871. The rebound this morning comes as the global markets stabilise to some degree, but of course that might just be temporary. We shall have to see about that. So whilst BTC might rebound further, it still remains hostage to events way beyond its control and hence vulnerable to more of what we saw unfold yesterday. Bitcoin is currently trading at 61,465
