Bitcoin holding below 27k so far today
The push higher in Bitcoin saw it rise to as high as 27,418 yesterday afternoon. That high was above the noted 50 day moving average (now in place at 27,188), but it stopped short of testing the 200 day moving average (now at 27,737). The lead coin then fell back quite markedly into the wider US market close. Bitcoin dropped back below 27k, to as low as 26,648 later yesterday evening and has been unable to rise back above 27k so far today. The range seen today has been covered by 26,682 to 26,885. It remains to be seen if the topside momentum can be reasserted again today. BTC is just now at 26,813
