Bitcoin hits European session low after failing to hold gains above technical level
Much earlier today the noted rise, back above its 200 day moving average in Bitcoin extended to a high at 59,450. However, and for some while now, it has been stepping back from that high and trading back underneath its 200 day moving average. So, it seems the failure to hold that upside break has now given way to fresh downside. That has led BTC to a new European session low a moment ago, at 57,565. The 200 day moving average is now in place at 58,820. Bitcoin is currently trading at 57,775
